[1Peter 1:23-25, NKJV]
23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,
24 because “all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls away,
25 but the word of the Lord endures forever.” Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you.
We who are born again are born of the incorruptible Word of God which lives and abides forever! This means that we are not of this world and not made by anything in this world.
The Word of God is incorruptible . . . never changing, never weakening, and not subject to any corruptive, decaying forces in the earth! The Word of God is oblivious to the decaying and corruptive processes that are in this world! The Word of God is not affected by adversity, circumstances, difficulties and impossibilities! The sin and degradation of this world cannot defile and tarnish the Word of God!
We may experience adversity, difficulties, problems, circumstances, persecution, temptations, and trials in this life . . . but when we believe the Word in our hearts and speak the Word with our mouth, we are taking our position on the incorruptible Word which is not affected by anything in this world!
All of the forces, resources, and power that is in the world cannot move the Word, or change it, or weaken it, or make it fade away . . . and as long as we maintain our position on the Word of God by believing and speaking the Word, we do not have to be moved, changed, weakened, or fade away from what God has promised to us!
Let us determine that we will continually do these three things . . .
#1. Believe the Word of God with all of our hearts!
#2. Speak the Word of God continually with our mouth!
#3. March steadily in the direction that God has instructed us to go!
